Our founder John Ibrahim's love and curiosity to create a premiumTasmanian whisky led him to partner with Damian Mackay at SheneDistillery, and this alliance gave birth to Emulsion, Single Malt Whisky. Damian crafted a triple distilled spirit exclusive for Callington Mill. which was then taken on a cask journey by John like no other. Thisspirit was aged in 100 litre Apera casks from our cooperage in Pontville. Additional spirit was also aged exclusively in rare 20 litre Australian Apera casks until ready to savour. The complexity was further evolved in rare Tawny Port casks from the heart of the Duoro Valley, Portugal, and premium French Oak Cognac Casks. The three elements Apera, Port and Cognac casks we blended to create Emulsion. A light and elegant whisky with notes of pineapple, vanilla and Turkish delight making this a bright and vibrant whisky.
